Abstract
Dear Sir:
Even as anesthesia journals branch out into the internet, I would like to use this forum to alert the CRNA’s in your readership to the fact that on-line CEU’s approved for independent study by the AANA are also available. Ednet LLC offers CEU’s which can be taken on line by those practitioners who are short of time and need the freedom of independent study. Our particular aim is the independent practitioner residing in a small town or rural community, for whom travel to meetings is sometimes difficult, if not impossible. We fully expect the number of people using our service to grow, as travel budgets in departments shrink while money supplies tighten. We will never replace the anesthesia conferences, where clinicians may come together and dialogue about techniques and situations. We instead prefer to be an adjunct to these meetings, filling in the gaps and providing independent educational offerings.
Our site may be accessed at http://www.ed-net.com . There new users will find instructions for use, as well as a fee schedule. The post tests may now even be taken on-line. We are always looking for new authors, as well as for input regarding our subject matter. If any of your readers have suggestions, they may contact us at ednet@ed-net.com, sending their email to my attention.
Sincerely yours,
Richard E. Haas, EdM, MS, CRNA
