Abstract

An interesting case of cystic adenomatoid malformation.

 

Case

A 6 month old male infant presented with history of recurrent respiratory infections and shortness of breath. A chest skiagram was ordered and Cystic Adenomatoid Malformation of the middle lobe of the right lung was diagnosed. The affected region was dull to percussion and air entry was poor. Surgical resection of the involved lobe was advised. The patient has been lost to follow-up.
