A term child born to a primigravida by LSCS due to breech presentation was kept in the newborn nursery for few hours due to respiratory distress, but was discharged with in 24 hours as patient had improved on oxygen, i/v fluids and antibiotics. No Xray chest was taken at that time. The child was roomed in and accepted breast feeds well. The mother did not notice any laboured breathing, difficulty in feeding in the subsequent period. The child was brought to us at the age of 3 month with history of fever, coryza, fast breathing and difficulty in feeding. There was no history of pyoderma, regurgitation of feed, repeated chest infection, choking on feeds.

On examination the child had mild distress with bilateral wheeze. CBC done at this stage were unremarkable, blood culture & CRP were negative. The child was put on i/v Ampicillin and adrenaline nebulisation. Chest X-ray taken at that point in time is enclosed. The child recovered well on supportive therapy.
