This is a well written book designed for intermediate students in biotechnology. The authors have done a reasonable job in covering a very broad area of science. While designed for science students, it would be useful to individuals in areas of law and regulation who require a less complex presentation of molecular biology. It could also be of value to advanced placement students in secondary education.
